KNXT Television (channels49 and 38) is seeking an experienced Director of Development for. KNXT. The Station is the only full-power TV station owned and operated by a Roman Catholic Diocese in the United States. The station Operates 24/7 bringing the Good News of Jesus to the Central Valley, Bakersfield and Kern County.
This position is responsible for locating and obtaining financial support for the station. The Director has an assistant and the Raiser’s Edge Data Base. St. Peter's / Holy Cross Cemeteries
Position: Cemeteries Facilities Maintenance Manager
Reports to:
Director of Cemeteries
SUMMARY: Position has primary responsibility for the maintenance and care of cemeteries facilities, including but not limited to the cemeteries office, mausoleums, cemeteries maintenance shops, grounds statuary, and cemeteries vehicles to a limited extent.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: High School diploma or GED required. Two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination or education and experience.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; and reach with hands and arms. The employee frequently is required to talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and taste or smell. The employee may also perform work in sub-floor and attic crawl areas. Ladder work to 30' heights. The employee must frequently life and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 pounds. NAVAL AIR BASE
Naval Air Station Lemoore is seeking a contracted part time pianist/organist to work with the Roman Catholic Priest providing pastoral services to the Base.
The position requires at least 3 years of experience playing for Roman Catholic worship services. It is desirable that the contractor/musician have previous experience working in military chapels.
It will be the duty and responsibility of the contractor musician to provide a replacement if they find they are incapable of performing the duties and responsibilities outlined in this job description.
This will be a third party arrangement.
Duties
Develop and deliver proposed plan of special music arranged from outside sources as deemed appropriate and necessary during the church year.
Minimum obligations include one Mass each Saturday (for 52 Saturdays) for the congregation. Also provide prelude, postlude and hymns during the
regular worship service and other services as may be scheduled. Provide for 23 special worship services and additional rehearsals for
Ash Wednesday (1 Mass) Immaculate Conception (1 Mass)
Holy Thursday (1 Mass) Christmas (2 Masses)
Good Friday services (1) Assumption (1 Mass)
Easter Vigil (1 Mass) Mary, Mother of God (1 Mass)
Easter
Ascension (1 Mass) Command memorial/funeral services
All Saints (1 Mass) (Projected to be no more than 4/Yr.)
Weddings, (Projected to be no more than 7/Yr.)
Primary Performance Objectives:
Coordinate and provide Roman Catholic Saturday Service Music 100% of the time
Submit proposed plan for Saturday services and special music to Roman Catholic
Priest (Performance standard: 100% of the time)
Be available for Memorial/Funeral services on 24 hour notice
This is an independent contractor position. The contractor is responsible to arrange for coverage for all contractual requirements in the event of personal illness, vacations, or any other time that they are unavailable. The name and contact number of a replacement must be provided to the Roman Catholic Priest or the Chaplain staff as soon as possible (15 days) or in an emergency at least 24 hours in advance.
Contractor will be paid upon electronic submission of invoices.
